Day Bracey and Ed Bailey of Drinking Partners Podcast and Mike Potter of Black Brew Culture online magazine will bring 12 black-owned breweries to Pittsburgh in August for Fresh Fest.
Bartender Sean Enright and journalist Cody McDevitt dive into Pittsburgh's boozy history with "Pittsburgh Drinks: A History of Cocktails, Nightlife & Bartending Tradition."
The frequent joke in Pittsburgh is that we’re happy to add a few beers to nearly any occasion — any excuse is often a good one. But there are some scenarios in which beer tastes a bit better. Many involve warm-weather occasions; so as the city starts to thaw, think forward to some of our favorite activities (outside of the bar) to grab a brew.
The new space, called the East End Brewery Taproom, will offer lunch and dinner service, expanded hours and a place for customers to sit and enjoy a pint of beer from one of the brewery’s 12 taps.
