On Thursday, April 28, Pittsburgh magazine hosted more than 140 guests at the King’s Garden of the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh to celebrate its quarterly series Spotlight on Women in Business.
Gospel singers and an organist added celebratory music to an orthodox ceremony officiated by Father John Chakos at Holy Cross Church. The couple invited their guests to a reception held in the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer.
The program for the service included the hymns in both English and Korean in honor of Andy’s family who traveled from Korea and wore traditional Korean celebratory dresses for the special occasion.
A fun-filled evening of dinner and dancing was held at the gorgeous Fox Chapel Golf Club, which was decorated in hues of pink and green to match the wedding’s color theme. The couple enjoyed creating personalized invitations that helped set the tone for the event at More Than Words Fine Papers.
After being walked down the aisle by her two daughters, Elisa and Cara, Regina was united with William in a traditional Catholic ceremony held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Kate and Patrick were married by Father Carmen D’Amico in a beautiful and traditional church, with a ceremony to match. The ambiance was similarly spectacular at their reception, held in the Omni William Penn’s art deco Urban Room.
The event included personal touches galore—photos of the couple at significant local places served as table names, earrings and candy came directly from Italy via the bride’s father, and everyone joined in to dance the Tarantella—a longstanding Tardio family tradition.
