Juneau is a 4-year-old male in need of a loving home. He made his way to Animal Friends after being brought in through the humane investigation department. Juneau is a very individualistic cat who takes time, patience, and a lot of treats to gain trust with! While residing at the shelter, Juneau works daily with staff and volunteers to build confidence around humans through play and target training. Juneau may be able to live in a home with other cats if slow, proper introductions are made. He needs an adult only home that will be able to give him the space he needs, and respect his boundaries while getting used to his surroundings.
Juneau is one of Yana’s “Special” Felines, meaning that his requested adoption donation is underwritten, and his new family will receive a starter kit of supplies and other support based on his unique needs.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our cats in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
Requested Adoption Donations
Young 5 months or younger | $150
Adult older than 5 months | $100
