Some dogs are built for adventure, some are built for cuddles, and Quala? Well, she brings a little bit of everything—with plenty of personality packed into one adorable, potato-shaped package.
This big, friendly girl is ready to find a family to call her own, and she’s hoping her next chapter includes plenty of outings, new friends, and, naturally, a few tasty treats along the way.
Quala came to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) as a stray, so unfortunately, her background is largely a mystery. What isn’t a mystery, however, is how much she enjoys being around people. Loyal, affectionate, and always happy to make a new friend, Quala is the kind of companion who would love to be included in whatever her family has planned. Whether it’s exploring a new walking trail, heading out for an adventure, or simply spending time together at home, she’s happiest when she’s with her people.
This girl also has a curious mind and an excellent nose! Quala would thrive in an active household where she can put her natural sniffing skills to work with scent games and other fun activities. Add in some positive reinforcement, a few delicious treats, and plenty of opportunities to explore, and you’ve got the recipe for a very happy dog.
Quala has some preferences when it comes to other animals, too. She enjoys spending time with calmer female dogs, so she could potentially be a great companion for a laid-back canine sister. A meet-and-greet is recommended to make sure everyone gets along. Homes with cats or other small animals, however, aren’t likely to be the best fit for her.
What Quala is really looking for is someone who appreciates her big personality, enjoys a little adventure, and understands that the best things come in all shapes and sizes. She’s affectionate, fun-loving, and ready to bring plenty of laughter and love to her next home.
