Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Gunnar
This large, lovable boy enjoys stopping to smell the roses on walks. Meet him at Animal Friends.
You cannot find a more handsome boy than Gunnar! This big guy came to Animal Friends through its Humane Investigations Department. Gunnar can be apprehensive about meeting new people. Therefore, if you are interested in meeting him, Animal Friends d set you up with a few meet-and-greets so that he can become comfortable with you. Gunnar is a very smart boy, who loves treats. He will be wonderful to train in his new home. He is a fantastic walker and enjoys taking his time to smell the flowers along the way.
Though he does not want to live with cats, he could live with another dog, but can be a little selective with his dog friends. Gunnar would do best in an adult-only home and we are asking that his new family has Rottweiler or similar breed experience.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
