OKTOBERFEST: Pittsburgh’s Biggest Fall Celebration Is Back!
October 1–11 | Downtown Pittsburgh
Get ready to raise a stein, grab a pretzel and say Prost!—because Oktoberfest Pittsburgh is back, and this year, Downtown is becoming PROSTBURGH.
From October 1–11, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and Flyspace Productions invite you to experience 11 days of German-inspired food, beer, music, games and family-friendly fun throughout the Golden Triangle.
At the heart of the celebration is Market Square, where you’ll find live polka and contemporary music, authentic German brews, bratwurst, knockwurst, warm pretzels and sweet treats. Test your skills with axe throwing, take a spin on the Devil’s Wheel, or let the kids loose in the Kinderplay area. With games and activities throughout the festival, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Feeling competitive? Sign up to be part of the action. On Saturdays and Sundays, PROSTBURGH will host its popular Stein Holding Competitions, where contestants put their strength to the test while holding a five-pound stein filled with golden brew. Four-legged competitors can get in on the fun, too, with the return of the crowd-pleasing Dachshund Races. Registration is open now for both events.
And back by popular demand: the 60-foot Ferris Wheel on the Clemente Bridge. Take a 10-minute ride high above the city for just $7 and enjoy sweeping views of Pittsburgh’s skyline—a one-of-a-kind way to experience PROSTBURGH. Advance Ferris Wheel tickets are available now.
Whether you’re gathering with friends, bringing the family, exploring Downtown or looking for a new fall tradition, PROSTBURGH is the place to be this October.
