Second Edition of Pittsburgh Caribbean Carnival
July 25 | Allegheny Commons Park West

On July 25, the second-annual Pittsburgh Caribbean Carnival returns with with Caribbean beats and colorful costumes. Event organizers say this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever. “Experience the rhythm of the islands with electrifying music, stunning costumes, delicious Caribbean cuisine and an atmosphere you won’t forget,” reads the event description. “This is more than an event it’s a celebration of culture, community and pure joy.” Tickets are available to purchase online.

Goat Fest
July 25 | Arlington Ball Field

Held every summer over four weeks in South Side Park’s “Jurassic Valley,” Goat Fest is a unique event in Pittsburgh in which Allegheny Goatscape goats feed off of invasive vines. Volunteers follow the goats to pull up the woody remainders and then seed the area with native species. The event includes live music, craft vendors, children’s activities, goat yoga and food trucks. It will take place at Arlington Ball Field from 12-4 p.m.

Family Fest
July 25 | Arts Landing

Ideal for families with children ages 1-13, Family Fest at Arts Landing features live performances, story time, family pickleball, local mascot meet-and-greet and a family dance party, along with ongoing activities including face painting, food trucks, lawn games, chalk art, scavenger hunt, open play, and hands-on arts activities. This July Family Fest will feature River City Brass and Gemini Children’s Theatre Company.
