BLACK AND GOLD GIFT BOX

The holiday season is upon us, which means it’s time to start thinking about gifts — both giving and receiving. If you’re struggling for corporate gift ideas this year, have no fear; love, Pittsburgh has got your back.

Pittsburgh natives and co-owners of the store, Monica Yope and Kelly Sanders, have put together their first Holiday Corporate Catalog. 

“We’ve done gift boxes before … but they weren’t specifically marketed to corporate gifting, so this is an expansion of that,” says Yope.

Opened in 2017 as a way to support and show the owners’ admiration for the city and its artists, love, Pittsburgh, which has two locations — one on Mt. Washington and another Downtown — features products and art made by more than 100 Pittsburgh locals, including Yope and Sanders.

Yope, is the owner of Pop Craft — a popup craft workshop that takes place in local bars — and Sanders is the creator behind Too Many Sparkles, a line of upcycled fabric notebooks and cards

CHAMPIONS OF LOCAL GIFT BOX

Starting at $39, the price of each gift box includes gift wrapping and shipping. To personalize the gift even more, the store has an option to add a company’s logo with a personal message card. 

“It’s a ready-to-go, quick-and-easy decision instead of having to source things yourself,” says Yope. 

“This is the gift people want to receive. People love our local support concept. They feel good receiving it and love what’s inside,” says Sanders.

Available boxes include the Black and Gold box; the love, Pittsburgh Essentials box; and the Champion of Local box. 

The Black and Gold box, which Yope says is “quintessential Pittsburgh,” features a Lit Soy Renegade Candle, Steel City Salt Black and Gold seasoning blend, Pittsburgh Star koozie and a Sarris Go Pittsburgh milk chocolate bar. 

LOVE, PITTSBURGH ESSENTIALS GIFT BOX

The love, Pittsburgh Essentials box includes a camper mug, hand tote, small love candle and love notebook, pen and matchbook. 

The Champion of Local box is comprised of Steel City Salt pink Himalayan Salt and tellicherry peppercorns; a Garbella Dear Pittsburgh tea towel; Curly Tail Coffee’s love, Pittsburgh blend; a love, Pittsburgh camper mug; and Klo Rebel overlook coasters. 

For those who prefer to mix and match products from different boxes, love, Pittsburgh has a custom box option.

While all of the gift boxes feature locally made products, living in Pittsburgh isn’t a requirement for giving one. 

“Somehow, people from out of state, like from California, anticipating an event in Pittsburgh, will reach out to us,” says Sanders.
