Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Whiskey

This handsome guy has lots of energy and needs a family that will be willing to give him the mental and physical exercise that he needs. Make an appointment to meet him at Animal Friends.

Whiskey

Breed: Shepherd, German/Mix | Sex: Male
Age: 3.4 years | Weight: 68 pounds
Arrived: June 29, 2021

Whiskey originally came to us via transfer from one of our partner shelters. Prior to that, he lived outside in poor conditions and he is looking forward to a better life. Whiskey is a very nervous guy who needs time to adjust to new people and new situations. He may be able to live with other dogs. Due to his high energy and fear issues, we recommend that he goes to an adult-only home.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
