Samson came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Team.  Samson does not like a lot of handling, especially around his head and feet. He is hesitant around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. Due to these factors, if you are interested in meeting with Samson, we would need you to come in and meet with him multiple times. Samson is very smart and learns quickly. He would need a family who is going to continue to work on his training. Samson can live with another dog and must be adopted by an adult-only home.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
