Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Pouncer

This handsome guy is looking for his forever home. Make an appointment to meet him at Animal Friends.

Pouncer

Breed: Domestic Shorthair | Sex: Male
Age: 6.6 years | Weight: 9 pounds
Arrived: Aug. 14, 2021

This handsome guy came to Animal Friends when his owner was no longer able to give him the care that he needed. Since he arrived, Pouncer has been very shy, but with the help of our dedicated staff and volunteers, he is slowly starting to come out of his shell. He is looking for a home with an experienced cat owner who will be patient and give him the time he needs to be comfortable with his new family. Pouncer is able to live with other cats and may even prefer to have a feline sibling!

Pouncer is one of “Yana’s Special Felines” which means his requested adoption donation has been underwritten and he will be sent home with an individualized starter kit of supplies and other support based on his unique needs.

To learn more about Yana’s Special Felines Fund, visit ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org/Yana.

Animal Friends is still open for adoption by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our cats in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.

Requested Adoption Donations
Young
5 months or younger | $150
Adult older than 5 months | $100

Twice as nice! When you adopt two cats from Animal Friends, we only request a single adoption donation.
