Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Pineapple

This energetic girl, once a stray, is now looking for her forever home. Make an appointment to meet her at Animal Friends.

Pineapple Kd

Breed:  Terrier, Pit Bull/Mixed Breed (Medium) | Sex: Female
Age: 2.8 years | Weight: 33 pounds
Arrived: April 20, 2022

Pineapple came to Animal Friends when a good Samaritan found her as a stray. This energetic girl likes to play “find it” and search for treats scattered in the grass. She would do best in a home with kids 13 or older, with a family willing to continue teaching her basic manners through positive reinforcement training. With the appropriate introductions, she may be able to live with a canine sibling.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoption by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
