Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Huck

This handsome man is a 6-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix. Make an appointment to meet him at Animal Friends.

Huck1

Breed: Coonhound, Treeing Walker/Mix | Sex: Male
Age: 6 years | Weight: 50 pounds
Arrived: December 28, 2021

This handsome man came to us when his owner thought he was no longer a good fit for them.  Huck would do best in a home with kids over 12 and he may be able to live with another dog pending a meet and greet at the shelter. Huck is a shy and anxious guy whose adopters need to understand he must warm up at his own pace.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoption by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
