Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Fantasia

This one-year-old lab mix is full of energy. Make an appointment to meet her at Animal Friends.

Fantasia

Breed: Collie/Retriever, Black Labrador| Sex: Female
Age: 1.2 years | Weight: 45 pounds

This young lady came to us from a transfer with another rescue group. Fantasia is looking for a home with children 13 or older that will be able to work with her on her leash manners while realizing that she is full of energy. Fantasia does guard items that are important to her and is selective of her dog friends. Fantasia also has a complimentary scholarship for a Companion Dog Manners class upon registration.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
