Is your New Year’s resolution to get healthier, for you or your family?

Maybe you’re already working on becoming healthier, but want more tips on staying healthy?

Pittsburgh Magazine has the content for you! Our new weekly newsletter, entitled “BeWell,” will publish every Monday, beginning Jan. 9.

You can subscribe to BeWell by visiting our website, and clicking the red text at the top right-hand side that reads, “Newsletters Sign Up.”

Start your week with workout tips, recommendations for beginners, easy at-home routines, exercising with your children, keeping up-to-date with vaccinations and health screenings, and so much more.

I will pick the brains of the top health experts in the city to bring you the best advice for all levels of fitness.

I have met with several of them over the past few weeks, and am impressed with their knowledge and what they are teaching me!

Just know that you are not alone because I am on this journey with you. One of my goals moving forward is getting myself healthier so I can age gracefully, and you can read my first-hand accounts of what works (and what doesn’t) for me.

Don’t tell anyone, but I am already over that hill, staring down … and I need to get moving so I am not featured on a Lifeline commercial (do they still make those?).

If my personal accounts don’t pique your curiosity or give you a chuckle, BeWell will also feature contributors, such as local personal trainers, to encourage you to keep moving.

So, click that subscribe button and check your email each Monday to start your week with me and personal trainers and coaches throughout Pittsburgh! You won’t want to miss this!
