Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Sam

He is a very smart boy and would love a home that can give him plenty of mental and physical exercise each day. Make an appointment to meet him at Animal Friends.

Sam (6)

Breed: Terrier, Pit Bull/Mixed Breed (Medium)| Sex: Male
Age: 3.3 years | Weight: 69 pounds
Arrived: July 28, 2020

Sam came to Animal Friends through a transfer with another shelter. He is a very smart boy and would love a home that can give him plenty of mental and physical exercise each day. He thrives on routines and is very easy to train because he loves to snack. He would do best in a home with only adults and would like to be the only pet in the house so that he can get all of the love to himself. Sam also has allergies and is on special medication for this. He would need a family that would be willing to help him with his allergies and management.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
