Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Rio

Rio would do best in a home that she can be the only dog to soak up all of the love. Make an appointment to meet her at Animal Friends.

Rio 2

Breed:  Chinese Shar-Pei/Mastiff| Sex: Female
Age: 7.2 years | Weight: 94 pounds
Arrived: Oct. 21, 2020

This sweet girl came to Animal Friends when her owner could no longer care for her.  Rio would do best in a home that she can be the only dog to soak up all of the love. She may be able to live with cats. She would also need a family with kids at least 13-years-old. Rio likes a more relaxed lifestyle and wants to hang out with her people and watch the world go by.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
