Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Frannie
Frannie would do best in a home where she is the only pet. Make an appointment to meet her at Animal Friends.
Breed: Retriever, Black Labrador/Mix| Sex: Female
Age: 9.2 years | Weight: 70 pounds
Arrived: June 9, 2020
Frannie came to Animal Friends when her owner could no longer care for her. Frannie would do best in a home where she is the only pet. She does not need very much exercise but would still like to have mental stimulation. We also recommend that Frannie goes to a home in an adult-only home.
Frannie does have an injury to one of her rear legs. Our vet team is still working on her treatment, but we want her to find her forever home. Therefore, Frannie would be able to start as a-foster-to-adopt, where she could start her new life with you while being treated by the medical team.
Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
