Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Blitzen
He would do best in a home with older children and needs to be the only animal in the home. Make an appointment to meet him at Animal Friends.
Breed: Chow Chow/Mix| Sex: Male
Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 60 pounds
Arrived: January 9, 2020
Blitzen came to us as a transfer from another shelter. He would do best in a home with older children and needs to be the only animal in the home. Our behavior team strongly feels Blitzen would do best in a home with Chow breed experience.
Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.
Animal Friends is open for adoptions by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
