Meet Heinz!

Pittsburgh’s newest sweet and saucy little cat! At just seven months old, this adorable guy came to us after being found as a stray, and he’s still getting used to shelter life. Right now, he’s a bit shy… but hey, even the best ketchup needs a little time before it’s ready to pour out all the love.

Heinz may not come in a glass bottle, but he’s got “57 varieties” of charm just waiting to be discovered. With a gentle touch, a quiet home, and someone willing to let him warm up at his own pace, this little tomato is sure to blossom into the sweetest companion.

Looking to add a little Pittsburgh flavor to your family? Come meet Heinz — he’s practically a local icon in the making! Interested? Please fill out an application https://ow.ly/zisO50VVXlW. All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines before being made available for adoption.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
