Primanti Bros. Debuts New Sandwich in Honor of Steelers’ QB Russell Wilson
Primanti Bros. will donate $1 to the UPMC Children’s Hospital Foundation for every "DangeRuss" sandwich sold during Wilson’s tenure as Pittsburgh’s QB.
Quarterback Russell Wilson has only made one start for the Steelers so far, but he already has his own Primanti Bros. sandwich.
The DangeRuss Sandwich is an homage to The Dangerwich, a short-lived promotion launched in Denver when No. 3 was helming the Broncos. It features pepperoni, salami, ham, bacon, Provolone cheese and, of course, the chain’s signature fries, slaw and tomato.

The sandwich is available at all Primanti Bros. locations.
“A big win changes the entire city’s attitude on a Monday,” says Jim Prezioso, director of beverage and off-premise marketing for Primanti Bros. “And we think this sandwich might just help carry us through the weekend.”
