When talking with Prince Matthews, it’s apparent that he lives by his advice of identifying one’s passions and purpose and leveraging them to solve a problem; it’s also clear that he made a career this way — holding multiple titles and having many ideas and throughlines connecting his work.

With POISE Foundation and Black Equity Coalition, he’s responsible for coalition-building and grant programs. For Viral Pyramid Marketing, his own venture, he offers marketing and communications support to companies. And for philanthropic endeavor MajesTech, which he founded, his aim is to connect nonprofit organizations.

He’s been celebrated locally and nationally for leadership and public service; one noteworthy recognition was the White House Fellowship Program naming him a 2020-2021 regional finalist.
