Three Rivers Arts Festival Now Plans to Host Main Stage Concerts Outdoors
The concerts will be open to all at Point State Park, and tickets will no longer be required.
The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Art Festival will host live music in Point State Park this summer after all.
With the governor rescinding limitations on crowd size before the festival’s start on June 4, the featured music concerts will no longer be inside the Byham Theater but will instead be outdoors at Point State Park.
The Dollar Bank Main Stage will host concerts Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the two weekends of the festival’s run. The lineup includes: Celisse (June 4), Bassel and the Supernaturals (June 5), Rayland Baxter (June 6), Shemekia Copeland (June 11), Caroline Rose (June 12), and Son Little (June 13).
Another change to previously announced plans is that no timed tickets will be required; free timed tickets were previously going to be necessary to attend for Dollar Bank Main Stage productions, Riverfront Stage shows, and the Artist Market. Masks will still be required.
Thirty additional artist market tents, six concession stands and an information tent will also be added to Point State Park while it’s open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
