A lineup of legendary Pittsburgh musicians including Joe Grushecky, Donnie Iris and Norman Nardini will perform in a 12-hour virtual concert on Saturday, April 18, to help the hundreds of restaurant and other service workers impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are using a platform that allows us to reach out to each artist, place them in a virtual green room, then place them into the show,” organizer Clyde Callicott tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Callicott, a member of the acoustic rock trio RightTurn Clyde, says the Pittsburgh Service Staff Aid concert runs from noon to midnight on Facebook and other social media outlets.

More than 60 artists ranging from folk to hip-hop are signed up to perform from their homes.

Callicott hopes the concert will raise to raise $20,000. Donations are accepted at app.mobilecause.com/vf/EBNHOSPITALITY or by sending a check to United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, 1250 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
