Pittsburgh Popcorn Co. offers sweet seasonal flavor
Freshly popped corn is one of nature’s wonders — so incredibly light that it melts on your tongue, yet it satisfies like no other snack. Pittsburgh Popcorn Co. improves upon this perfection by creating to-die-for sweet and savory flavors, often with a fun seasonal spin. This month’s special variety is Marshmallow Peep: The popcorn, drizzled with irresistible marshmallow topping, comes in attention-grabbing springtime pastel colors. Pittsburgh Popcorn Co. will sell this sweet, tasty flavor today through April 8 — so scoop it up while you can!

McGinnis Sisters to host cooking demos
Cooking holiday meals can be extremely stressful. There's a possibility that something could go wrong — side dishes may burn, breads might not rise … or you might accidentally spill something all over your kitchen floor.
Since the culinary whizzes at McGinnis Sisters want you to be completely ready for Easter, they're offering visitors to the Adams Township site a chance to watch, learn and sample tomorrow with their cooking demos.
Draw inspiration, collect recipes, ask questions — and while you're there, pick up goods for next week's festivities (hey, why not beat the rush?).

Dozen Bake Shop unveils its own "Happy Hour"
Cosmopolitans, Pina Coladas and Jack & Cokes are typical happy hour refreshments; they're perfect for those hoping to kick back and unwind after a long day.
Recognizing that, Dozen Bake Shop has unveiled its own version of the classic after-work special. Dozen sells one of its six delicious "happy hour" flavors, which range from Lemon Drop to Cosmopolitan, for two bucks Monday through Saturday from 4-6 p.m.
And if you stop by within the next few weeks, you can also pick up one of the limited-time Kiss Kakes, created by the KISS-FM DJs; if you stop in today, for example, you might want to grab the Scottro: a chocolate cupcake chock-full of cherry filling and topped with vanilla buttercream, Oreo bits and a gummy worm (in other words, it's basically the cupcake version of a Dirt Sundae).
