It’s Time to Give Big Pittsburgh

There’s no such thing as a bad time to give back, but some days are better than others.

Give Big Pittsburgh is back for its fourth straight year. Give Big falls on Dec. 1, Giving Tuesday, a nationally recognized response to the holiday spending done on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Nearly 500 Pittsburgh-area nonprofits are registered and ready to receive your donations through a single online donation platform, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most.

This is the fourth year that Pittsburgh Magazine has partnered with GiveGab to help raise money for local nonprofits. Since 2017, more than $4 million has been donated and this year the need is greater than ever.

“Time and again, Pittsburgh has demonstrated to be one of the most generous cities in the country,” says Pittsburgh Magazine Publisher Betsy Benson. “During these unprecedented and difficult times, we believe our community will again step up to the funding challenges our charitable institutions face.”

While Giving Tuesday is one day, the GiveBig Pittsburgh portal will remain open to accept donations through Dec. 31.
