Kick back on National Margarita Day
It's Friday. And National Margarita Day. Kick-start your weekend by visiting one of our favorite spots for sipping something tart (and salty).
With an extensive tequila selection, Verde Mexican Kitchen & Cantina remains a go-to for margaritas. Order some chips and salsa, plus a drink (like the one pictured), and unwind.
Round Corner Cantina sure knows how to pack 'em in. No matter the season, this Lawrenceville joint is perfect for catching up with friends over a few El Reys — and it's even better when hangouts can take place on the outdoor patio under the night sky.
Small and cozy, Yo Rita is fresh and inviting when compared to its neighboring bars. Here, daily taco specials and ginger-lime margaritas lure locals.

Hooper among James Beard semi-finalists
Things have no doubt been heating up in Pittsburgh's culinary scene these last few years, which is why Eat Street excitedly awaits the announcement of new James Beard semi-finalists.
Once again, another local chef is included in the bunch: Trevett Hooper, chef/co-owner of Legume (our 2012 Best New Restaurant), was named to the list of semi-finalists in the Best Chef — Mid-Atlantic category. We hear his crew has already started celebrating by popping a bottle of champagne (at him) and cheering. Congrats, chef Hooper!

Azure Cafe comes to Bellevue
Following the late-summer closing of Bite Bistro (operated by Vivo chef Sam DiBattista's daughters), Azure Cafe has finally opened its doors.
Still in its infancy, the owner is looking to switch up the Azure menu in coming weeks, but patrons can expect to see grape leaves and chicken platters in the rotating lineup. Dinnertime specials, like kofta, will also be offered at this Egyptian-inspired cafe.
