Here’s the Schedule for This Year’s Cinema in the Parks in Pittsburgh
You will want to hang on to this list all summer long.
Pittsburgh’s Cinema in the Parks is back this summer and the season offers a new twist — a month-long schedule of pop-up movies starting in June.
The City of Pittsburgh’s summer movie schedule typically begins in July with movies playing at Highland Park, Riverview Park, Schenley Park Flagstaff Hill, Schenley Plaza, Brookline Memorial Park, Arsenal Park in Lawrenceville, Grandview Park in Mount Washington, McBride Park in Lincoln Place and West End/Elliott Overlook. While there’s still that to look forward to later in the summer, this year’s series will also offer pop-up movies in June at a variety of parks throughout the city.
To learn where and when the pop-up movies will be playing, the city says to follow its @PghEventsOffice on Twitter and Facebook and to check the event’s official website often. As of now, the pop-up schedule is yet to be released.
But we do know what movies will be playing throughout July and August; the city promises an all-star line-up of films, encompassing a wide range of genres and interests. Films include “Luca,” “Finding Nemo,” “Spiderman: No Way Home,” “A Quiet Place Part II” and more.
Check out this detailed guide on what’s playing under the stars in our parks this summer.
