Kraft Heinz Releases a New Product Inspired by the ‘90s Sitcom “Friends”
Create your own Moist Maker sandwich this Nov. 27 with a squeezable bottle of Heinz Leftover Gravy.
Happy Friendsgiving!
The Kraft Heinz Co. dropped a new product inspired by the Moist Maker, a post-Thanksgiving sandwich with a gravy-soaked slice of bread in the middle featured in an episode of the NBC sitcom “Friends.”
Leftover Gravy, the first-ever squeezable bottle of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy is the perfect addition to your obligatory Day After Turkey Day lunch.
In other words, Heinz’ll be there for you.
According to the company, which has corporate offices in Pittsburgh and Chicago, 94% of Americans stuff Thanksgiving leftovers between bread. A lot of those same folks will probably binge-watch “Friends” as they stuff their faces with Moist Makers this Nov. 27.
It’s what Ross Geller would want.
In a press release, Heinz said it was “celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich.” I’m not a “Friends” devotee (I preferred to spend Thursday nights in 1994 watching “My So-Called Life” on ABC), but I appreciate the company’s efforts to make indelible pop culture moments edible.
If you order a 12-ounce jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy on Walmart.com, you’ll receive a limited-edition Heinz Leftover Gravy Kit. It includes the new squeezable bottle and a recipe card for the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.” Supplies are limited, so don’t wait until Black Friday, friends.
If you miss out on the Leftover Gravy offer, perhaps Heinz will release a follow-up to last summer’s Ketchup Smoothie.
As a Graver, I’d be down to try another ice-cold condiment. But, like Joey Tribbiani, I don’t share food.
