Give Big Pittsburgh Turns 10 — And It’s Almost Time to Give Again
Since 2017, the 24-hour online fundraising effort has generated more than $25.5 million for local causes.
Give Big Pittsburgh is celebrating an important milestone — it’s 10th birthday.
Each year after Cyber Monday, which always takes place on the Monday after Thanksgiving, comes Giving Tuesday, which makes a big impact on helping Pittsburghers.
For the last 10 years, Pittsburgh Magazine has partnered with GBU Life and GiveGab for the single online donation platform, giving folks an easy way to connect with charitable causes they care about.
Since its inaugural year in 2017, Give Big Pittsburgh has raised over $25.5 million for charitable causes around the area.
Just in the last year, Give Big Pittsburgh raised more than $3.5 million for 497 nonprofits in the Pittsburgh region. The 10th anniversary of the 24-hour online fundraising effort returns on Dec. 1.
In the meantime, local nonprofits are invited to register to participate in Give Big Pittsburgh 2026, which gives registered nonprofits a chance to raise funds to support their mission and create a meaningful impact across the region.
