Gearing up for #GiveBigPittsburgh
Is your nonprofit ready for the most wonderful time of the year?
The holiday season is fast approaching. Following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday is #GivingTuesday. Coinciding with the National Day of Giving, which falls on Dec. 3 this year, we turn our wallets to those organizations making a difference in our communities.
For the third year in a row, Pittsburgh Magazine, working with local organizations, will launch the third annual #GiveBigPittsburgh campaign, which allows donors to give to registered nonprofits through the end of the calendar year.
Why should a nonprofit participate in Give Big Pittsburgh? This day of giving allows your organization to be connected with untapped donors in the region, gain exposure and magnify fundraising efforts to end the year strong. We provide the platform for donations, all you have to do is reach out.
If you are a nonprofit organization stationed or providing services in the western Pennsylvania area, you are eligible to participate. Registration closes on Nov. 1.
After you are registered, we encourage you to utilize the toolkits provided to further promote your participation. Make sure your networks know where to donate on Giving Tuesday and up your social media presence to show your involvement using #GiveBigPittsburgh.
