This year, Pittsburgh Magazine’s Fashion with Compassion takes an earthy turn! As a lead-up to the big Ecolution Eco-Fashion Show*, our April 16 event will feature an upcycling competition using donated and discarded clothing. The award-winning Bradford Mumpower will carefully select local artists and designers, challenging them to transform old clothes into fashionable works of art for the runway. A panel of judges will select a winner. Join us for fashion fun, shopping, light bites and cocktails at the Energy Innovation Center.

This year the event is a benefit for Dress for Success Pittsburgh, a local nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
