The world’s latest power couple made its debut last week.

Thursday marked the launch of The Crate and Barrel x Leanne Ford Spring 2020 Collection, which includes furniture and home accents that marry classic and modern design and works with the aesthetics of any home.

“From day one, working with Crate and Barrel felt like a natural fit. Everyone knows them for craftsmanship, quality, and of course, timeless design,” Ford says in a press release.

Sebastian Brauer, Crate and Barrel’s vice president of product design and development, agrees.

“We have always been such fans of Leanne’s design work, as she’s helping redefine American interior style with her artful and design-forward vibe,” he says. “Our shared passion for design, and shared admiration for each other’s work, allowed us to create a timeless, yet versatile collection that captures both Leanne’s relaxed, effortless aesthetic, with the approachability, quality and craftsmanship that makes us Crate and Barrel.”

A Pittsburgh native known for her edgy style, Ford stars on the hit HGTV show “Restored by the Fords” — now gearing up for season three in Pittsburgh — alongside her brother, Steve Ford.

Her design trademarks are apparent in the pieces she created, many of which are in her signature color  — white — making them instant classics. From bedding to chairs to accent pieces, Ford says she made something for every corner of a home.

“I wanted these pieces to be around forever. The more they’re lived with, the better they get,” she says in a Q&A session with Crate and Barrel.

Designing her products for both form and function, Ford says every piece in her new line should feel new, yet familiar.

“Working [with Crate and Barrel] to create this collection, a fresh, modern take on classic materials and shapes, has been a shared labor of love,” she says. “I love knowing these pieces will be around for years to come.”
