How you can score a free bag of French fries from Sheetz.

Pittsburghers may know Friday, July 10 as the day the dreaded I-376 closure goes into place, but for Sheetz, the date means something a little tastier.
July 10 is National French Fry Day, and the local gas and retail chain is celebrating by giving away a free bag of French fries with any food or drink purchase of at least $10.
Sheetz, which recently announced plans to expand into Indiana and has also debuted a 10-inch, Paul Skenes-approved specialty hot dog, says the free fry promotion will be available through July 16 at all 830-plus locations. You can add it under the “OFFERZ” tab in the Sheetz app.
Sheetz fries have been popular; in 2022, Sheetz debuted a subscription service through which customers could pay a monthly fee of $10 through the Sheetz app and receive a free bag of Sheetz fries every two hours. The promotion, which garnered a cult following among truck drivers and others who travel often for work, came to an end last year, but officials say there are frequent deals and discounts available in the app.
