As a new generation takes the reins, Madia Homes continues its tradition of truly custom homebuilding.

Madia Homes may be best known for the stately Heights of North Park community in Pine, but these days it’s in the spotlight as the second-generation of family ownership takes over and a new neighborhood in Hampton Township called Four Seasons begins to take shape.
Because of Madia Homes’ legacy of consistency and quality, Pittsburgh Magazine selected a home at Four Seasons as this year’s Ultimate House. Each year, Pittsburgh Magazine celebrates the “ultimate” in residential living in Pittsburgh, opening a selected home to public tours over a 10-day period – with all ticket proceeds going to The Free Care Fund at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
“What I’m looking forward to is showing what our company can do, because we’re one of the last few truly custom home builders,” says Luke Madia, son of company founder, Frank Madia. The Madia family intends to honor Frank, who died in 2024, as they join forces with Pittsburgh Magazine to celebrate the Ultimate House honor.
The 7th Annual Ultimate House, presented by Duquesne Light Co., will comprise 6,000 square feet of living space on three levels, ample outdoor entertaining space, a remarkable state-of-the-art kitchen with a 12-foot island, and much more. Dubbed a “moody” coastal-modern, it will feature the latest innovations in homebuilding today. Public tours, benefiting Children’s Hospital, are scheduled for July 2026. Since its inception in 2015, Pittsburgh Magazine’s Ultimate House projects have raised more than $370,000 for the Free Care Fund.
“Being able to show the quality of our product and our new community is great, but it really will help some kids in need,” said Luke Madia.
The Four Seasons community will include 13 homes situated on half-acre lots. The Hampton School District and proximity of North Park make it a highly desirable location.
