Most drivers avoid Rialto Street.

As the fifth steepest street in the city, navigating it can be a white-knuckling experience.

What drivers avoid in Troy Hill, snowboarders seek out. That was the case this weekend, anyway, when a Reddit user posted a video titled “Shredding down Rialto St.” The 20-second clip shows a snowboarder making it from the top of Pig Hill to the bottom.

“Get it in while you can!” the video is captioned.

That’s not the only spot around town where Pittsburghers turned the streets into slopes.

Reddit user u/negley_ave_ski_club made dreams come true with this uploaded video that shows a skier swiftly heading down Negley Avenue.

Also on Negley Avenue, a group of skiers set up a makeshift snow mogul, while a snowboarder and skier tackled North Winebiddle Street.

Where have you been seeing winter activities around the city?
