2024 40 Under 40 Honoree: Carsen Ruperto (37)
"I’m really motivated by inspired action. So when I say that, I mean my purpose is to inspire others to their greatest heights."
Carsen Ruperto
Chief People Officer, Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, Inc.
Carsen Ruperto’s background as a human resources lawyer led her to where she is today as a Chief People Officer. In her prior role working with clients on how to handle situations that would impact employees, she says she was the “happiest and most fulfilled.”
She now leads functions supporting people operations, including talent acquisition and benefits administration, at Eat’n Park Hospitality Group Inc. This role fulfills her professional wishlist items, fittingly including the wish “to create a smile” at work.
For the city at large, Ruperto hopes locals can continue to find commonalities to meet critical needs. Outside of work, she is a member of United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council and of Carnegie Mellon University’s The Advanced Leadership Institute, specifically the Chief Human Resources Officer Council. Ruperto, who has practiced law since 2011, has been recognized by Best Lawyers and has offered pro bono legal services to nonprofit organizations.
