2023 40 Under 40 Honoree: Brittany Radomski (39)
“Health disparity still exists. Health equity is not a trend … It is a continued commitment to the communities that need help the most.”
Brittany Radomski
Lead Pharmacist, Health Equity Team; Bethany Community Ministries
Brittany Radomski participated in regional COVID-19 vaccination clinics in 2021 to lend a hand.
At the time, while working as a pharmacist at Rite Aid (where she still is part time), she hadn’t imagined she’d make a connection that would lead to her landing a “non-traditional” pharmacist role that she is “just so thankful for.”
With the nonprofit organization Bethany Community Ministries, she “meets people where they are,” such as at schools and senior centers, vaccination clinics, health talks and more.
Radomski seems to have a knack for “helping people through their fears” (such as getting shots) and encourages other young professionals to “gravitate toward what you love.”
While focusing on health equity, she’s developed partnerships with local pharmacies to ensure they have access to various vaccines (including shingles), and the Alma Illery Medical Center, which helps to connect care to various populations.
