As a self-described collaborator, Arthur R. Pang says the “throughline of my life has been service.”

This holds true in his career, volunteer engagements and public policy consulting work. Today, in his day job, he feels “fortunate to be able to tell the story of FHLBank Pittsburgh, supporting liquidity in the U.S. economy and affordable housing in communities nationwide.”

Outside of work, he’s actively serving on multiple boards, including Rivers of Steel, and has consistently given back since he arrived in Pittsburgh in 2013.

Pang also is chairperson of Allegheny County Human Relations Commission and says that he’s “humbled and privileged to represent Asian Americans” and be invited into spaces, especially volunteer work and board positions, as it’s a sign that the organizations want to extend their missions to diverse populations.
