2010 Jordan Chardonnay

With its wonderful citrus-like aromas and creamy oak components, this wine is the perfect match for a Thanksgiving feast.

It can be challenging to select a wine for the bountiful Thanksgiving meal. With turkey at center stage, you could choose both white and red wines to match the turkey’s flavorful taste and firm texture; plus, you need to consider the different taste created by the wide variety of bread stuffings. Jordan Vineyard and Winery was founded in 1976 and has a history of producing outstanding red and white wines. The 2010 chardonnay, which I gave a score of 92, opens with wonderful citrus-like aromas, highlighted with creamy oak components. The lemon custard and spice flavors are topped with a smooth, creamy finish.
