2009 Bodega Numanthia Termes Numanthia – Toro
This Spanish red wine impresses with its notes of dark fruits, chocolate and oak.
Although sherry is Spain’s best-known and most-famous wine, of late I have been impressed with Spanish reds. At their best, they are rich and full-bodied and can compete with top reds from other wine-producing countries. For your enjoyment, I have selected a red made from a local varietal of Tempranillo called Tinta de Toro. I have given this beauty a score of 95 points.
