A new handbag from Sandra Cadavid’s is perfect for work — or play.
While students are returning to the classrooms with new backpacks, this chic bag is ready to take you back to the office in style.
The recently launched Lee-May Woven Hobo Bag in sedona ($575) by Pittsburgh-based Sandra Cadavid has leather details, giving it a touch of bohemian glamour. Use it for work or play.
The bag was designed in Pittsburgh but handmade in Colombia.
Sandra Cadavid designer Sandra Reiman cares deeply for her birthplace, Cali, Colombia, and she sources all of her materials for her handbags and jewelry from there. She also tries to hire women who have faced violence in her home country.
The company proudly uses only traditional leathers — avoiding rare, endangered animals — and when dying the leather, it uses non-toxic, vegetable-based dyes. The products are then packaged in reusable cloth pouches for sale.
