What Did You Miss When GMA Stopped in Pittsburgh?

The Steel City was featured this morning on ‘Good Morning America.’

“Good Morning America” made a pit stop in Pittsburgh Thursday morning, showcasing some of the great things about the city.

As the GMA Winnebago pulled up along the shore this morning, the cast was greeted by Pitt cheerleaders and eager fans.

One of the show’s segments, “Tell T.J.,” aired aboard the Gateway Clipper, featuring local nonprofit Beverly’s Birthdays, which provides birthday cheer for children experiencing homelessness and families in need. Alongside founder Megs Yunn, local teachers and youth boarded the ship around 4:45 a.m. to take part in the episode.

GMA chief meteorologist Ginger Zee and contributor Tory Johnson were also on board, sharing this morning’s “Deals and Steals” segment, which was renamed “Deals and Steelers.”

GMA also featured PPG Paint’s latest initiative to protect puppy’s paws from hot sidewalks during hot and sunny weather.

Pittsburgh was the latest stop on GMA’s Big Summer Roadtrip.
