We Can’t Look Away From This Bizarre ’80s Video

The first time Pittsburgh was rated America’s No. 1 city, we made a song about it. It's really ... something.

Listen, we know the Interweb is filled with cynicism and sarcasm, but we genuinely love this absurdly enthusiastic theme song from 1985, when Pittsburgh was rated the No. 1 city in the U.S. by Places Rated Almanac. It wouldn't return to the top spot until 22 years later in 2007.

So the occasion gave us, apparently, the honor and right to siiiiiiiiiiiiiing.

Yikes. If we win another America's Most Livable title in 2014, someone get Donnie Iris on the phone.
