The University of Pittsburgh Panthers pulled off one of the biggest upsets in college football history by knocking off No. 2 Clemson Saturday night.
University of Pittsburgh football coach Pat Narduzzi told reporters late last week that the Panthers were headed to Clemson's aptly-named Death Valley “with upset” on their mind. But Pitt was coming off back-to-back losses and virtually no one outside of their locker room gave the unranked Panthers a chance. In a stadium packed to the rafters with Clemson fans, Pitt silenced the crowd with a stunning 43-42 win. Afterwards, inside the winning locker room, silence was in short supply.
