Defenseman Brian Dumoulin learns how to prepare lobster thermidor in NHL cooking show.

Dumoulin appears in the latest episode of “Plates and Skates,” an NHL produced program where players learn how to prepare restaurant-quality dishes with the help of real chefs. The defenseman’s instructor for making lobster thermidor was French chef and restaurateur Ludo Lefebvre. The highlight of the episode is toward the end when Duomoulin’s young son Brayden tastes tests the dish. Spoiler alert, the young man was not impressed with his Dad’s newest culinary creation.
