WOW Air, which began service in Pittsburgh in June, is now offering one-way flights to eight European cities for $69.
All of the flights connect through the airline’s hub in Reykjavík, Iceland and return fares are more expensive, ranging from $100 to $150. But if you want to fly round-trip from Pittsburgh to either Paris, Brussels, Stockholm, Dublin, Berlin, London, Copenhagen or Edinburgh for less than $300, the time to book your flight is now.
As with most low-cost airlines, the $69 essentially covers just you. A carry-on bag is $40 each way, a checked bag is $60 each way and selecting a seat ahead of time costs $10. There are also fees for meals and drinks.
The ultra-cheap fares are for travel in September through November.
