Home & Garden Show
March 6-15 | David L. Lawrence Convention Center

This is the last weekend for the 44th annual Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

This is the largest home event in the country, with more than 1,500 exhibitors spread across more than 10 acres in the convention center. The special guest speakers this year are celebrity antiques appraiser Dr. Lori, and TV star Ty Pennington.

Hidden History Trivia Night
March 12 | Heinz History Center

Test your knowledge of weird, wild and wonderful stories inspired by Pittsburgh’s past. The trivia showdown blends the best of the Pittsburgh’s Hidden History exhibition with iconic pop culture moments. Participants can enjoy a cash bar and free snacks while they play.

Don’t forget to explore the Hidden History exhibit to uncover facts that may be featured in the competition before the trivia kicks off.

21+ Night: Superstitions
March 13 | Kamin Science Center

Kick off Friday the 13th by testing your luck and learning about the science behind superstitions at Kamin Science Center. The event includes spookily delicious cocktails and mocktails while you stroll (kid-free) through all five floors of the science center.

You’ll learn about Pittsburgh folklore, reenact bad luck-bringing actions — and come face to face with a black cat.

Pittsburgh Parade Day Dash
March 14 | Downtown

Get your steps in before the St. Patrick’s Day parade even begins with the second annual Pittsburgh Parade Dash presented by GNC. The family-friendly celebration features a 5K and a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk that follows a scenic route through the city.

Wear your best St. Patrick’s Day outfit during the race and head to the costume contest photo booth after you cross the finish line.

Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 14 | Downtown

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Did you know that approximately 1/5th of the Pittsburgh metropolitan community claims Irish heritage?

It’s no surprise then that the Steel City boasts one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the country. Irish step dancers, marching bands, military members, community organizations, and even Punxsutawney Phil are some of the participants scheduled to march down Grant Street on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day.

The parade kicks off at 10 a.m.
