With summer weather already upon us and mask mandates being lifted for vaccinated diners, there has never been a better time to experience all the culinary options the city has to offer in enhanced, expanded, and beautified outdoor spaces!

‘Good Eats Outdoors,’ the latest campaign from the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, showcases restaurants offering outdoor dining along with the expanded seating and sidewalk areas that were created by the PDP in collaboration with community partners, the City of Pittsburgh, property and business owners, restaurants, and retailers. After you’re done eating, you can also visit one of the 80 ‘Good Shops Downtown’ featuring retailers, locally-owned shops, and small businesses.

The weekly Market Square performances will serve as a centerpiece to a growing selection of live music options across Downtown most days of the week throughout the Summer, with regularly scheduled free concerts and performances as part of the PDP’s Downtown Sound Series. Find musical acts on the 900 block of Penn Avenue on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., lunchtime performances on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Market Square, presented by Dollar Bank, and additional performances at the Market Square Farmers Market on Thursdays at the PNC Bank Stage. Plus, later this month, there will be drinks, dining, art and live music outdoors at the new Allegheny Overlook Pop-Up Park on Fort Duquesne Blvd. which will offer a truly unique riverside experience.

Parking is a bargain at $3, nights and weekends, at the 350 Oliver Avenue Garage, courtesy of ALCO Parking!
