The Tale of Tyler Kennedy as Willy Wonkowski in Randyland

The series of three videos promotes Junior Achievement's Golden Ticket raffle for a pair of season tickets to the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and more.

It's the perfect gift for the ultimate Pittsburgh sports fan.

That's how Junior Achievement bills its annual Golden Ticket raffle and with a grand prize of season tickets to the 'Burgh's three major sports teams (plus semi-professional and college teams), who could argue? To promote the raffle, YaJagoff Media convinced former Pittsburgh Penguin Tyler Kennedy to star in a three-video Pittsburgh Parody of Willy Wonka filmed at Randyland.

Dennis P. Gilfoyle, President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania, says the annual campaign needed some fresh legs.

“After sponsoring the Golden Ticket Raffle for the last 8 years, we wanted to do something unique and fresh that would broaden our reach on social media … since it seems this is where most folks go to learn about the raffle and buy tickets,” he says.

Gilfoyle says he couldn't be happier with the outcome.

“We’re still laughing.  A perfectly Pittsburgh sales pitch! Tyler is a great guy.”

While the raffle will make one person extremely happy, it also helps thousands of others.

“The raffle itself gives one person an incredible prize of two tickets to over 250 games. And better than that, the proceeds help Junior Achievement reach an additional 3,500 children with programs and experiences focused on their future in our regional economy,” Gilfoyle says.

Tickets are on sale until 6 p.m. on Aug. 31. The winner is based off of the PA Lottery Big 4 evening drawing that same night. You can order your tickets here.
